HIRE RATES AND CONDITIONS

WEDDINGS/BIRTHDAYS/ANNIVERSARIES/GENERAL PARTIES

There is no charge for the hire of the hall for parties with over 25 guests. You pay for the extra

staffing that is required by you to adequately serve your guests. The Club will have one bar person on

duty at all times when the Club is open. If your party has more than 25 guests, but less than 100
guests, you are required to request one extra member of staff to serve behind the bar. For numbers of

guests between 100 and 200 you are required to request two extra bar staff, and for over 200 guests,
up to a maximum of 300 guests, you are required to request three extra bar staff.

CHILDREN’S PARTIES

For children’s parties with up to 25 adult guests there is no staffing cost associated with the hire of the
hall, but there is a supplementary fee to cover costs of lighting, heating, air conditioning, etc. Please

multiply the hourly fee by the number of hours you require to get your total fee (please see fees table

below).

COMMERCIAL USE

Where the hall is hired for commercial use the Club will supply the first extra bar staff required at no

extra cost to the hirer, i.e. up to 25 guests will be catered for free to the hirer. If more than 25 guests,

but less that 100 will be in attendance and are requiring the services of the bar then you are required to
request the services of one extra member of staff to serve behind the bar. For each 100 extra guests

over and above the first 100 guests you are required to request the services of one extra member of

staff. If the hourly commercial hire transgresses two sessions then staffing requirements for two
sessions will be necessary (please see fees table below).

ALL USE

If the number of guests attending your function exceeds the numbers indicated on the booking form or

agreed with the committee, the Club may, at its discretion, bring in extra staff to cope with the

numbers. You will then be charged for this extra staffing requirement by a deduction of the necessary
fee from your deposit. If extra staff are not available at short notice and the staff on duty are put under

undue pressure to cope with the numbers then you may still be charged the cost of the extra bar staff.
